The Greatest WWE Stars Who Graced the Ring and Entertained

WWE

Wrestling has been one of America’s favorite sports to watch for the last three decades. Part of the reason for that fame is the WWE, and the majority of WWE’s success came from the biggest name in wrestling.

From John Cena to the masked man Rey Mysterio, everyone has contributed to making wrestling one of the most cherished sports in history. That said, today we will have an in-depth look at the greatest WWE superstars, their contributions, and the upcoming wrestling events.

Sounds great? Great! Let’s dive right into it.

Upcoming WW Events that You Shouldn’t Miss

Before we get to the list, here are some upcoming WWE events you need to mark on your calendars in 2025:

  • On August 2 and 3, WWE SummerSlam
  • On August 13, we have Clash in Paris
  • Likely in September, it will be WWE NXT No Mercy
  • Expected in October, we have WWE NXT Halloween Havoc
  • On October 11, it is going to be WWE Crown Jewel
  • On November 29, we have WWE Survivor Series: War Games
  • In December, we expect WWE NXT Deadline
  • Probably, in the last quarter of 2025, we will have the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XL1

If you want to catch the action live, make sure you have the right set of channels on good ol’ cable TV or a high-speed internet connection. I have been all set with both because I am an Optimum subscriber – one of the best telecommunication providers in the US with affordable internet and TV plans and bilingual Optimum servicio al cliente that is available 24/7.

Greatest WWE Superstars of All Time

Now that we have covered the upcoming WW events, let’s talk about the greatest WW entertainers that we all grew up watching and still watch (sometimes):

Just a heads up: this list is entirely based on my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Steve Austin

Did you, too, start watching WWE in the 1990s? I know, I did!

And the major part of the reason for that was Stone Cold Steve Austin. When we talk about the legends of WWE, the first name that comes to my mind is Steve Austin, and rightly so. He was the one who took the WWE to new heights and saved Monday Night which was in severe competition with the WCW.

As for his accomplishments, he has been awarded with WWE Champion six times, Intercontinental champion two times, Tag Team champion two times, King of the Ring in 1996, and he wrote his name in WWE Hall of Fame as well.

His personality was all that was needed for the WWE: A tailor-made badass who was rebellious in nature, didn’t follow the orders, and was the least booed WWE participant in history.

He was adored for what he was, and he is certainly the top name in WWE Superstars.

Randy Savage

After Stone Cold Steve Austin, we have Randy Savage. He is another WWE legend who helped the organization (WWE) reach greatness.

You might know him for his feud with George Steele over his infatuation with his wife. That feud resulted in great storylines and even greater matches that everyone wanted to watch. I am talking about WrestleMania 3. It was one match to be cherished.

Although he doesn’t have a big award cabinet, unlike Steve Austin, he did manage to achieve a massive fan following for his storylines. His storylines were unique because of the emotions. I did relate to that, and most of you guys reading this who watched him would have related to the storyline.

He was also known as the Macho Man, and I loved that guy. All in all, he was definitely one of the greatest WWE Superstars, not by titles but by his personality.

The Undertaker

Mark William Callaway, or The Undertaker, is one of the best WWE wrestlers as well as a superstar of all time. His aura, the slow walk towards the ring, and a naturally sophisticated way to fight made him what he was.

His debut was in 1990s, and from then on, he had an amazing career in the WWE. He might be the most loyal participant of the WWE, and his award cabinet clearly reflects that.

Speaking of the award, he won WWE Champion four times, World Heavyweight champion three times, a and Tag Team Champion six times. But that’s just surface level; his full achievements could be covered in another article!

I just want to say that he is the star of the stars in WWE, and his final match in 2020 against AJ Styles was an epic way to say goodbye to his WWE career.

Let me conclude this topic by mentioning the platform where you can watch the best performances from these stars, and the upcoming WWE events: Peacock. It covers all the major events like Wrestle Mania, Royal Rumble, and more. So, do check them out.
